We came here for dinner Saturday night and it wasn't very crowded! This is probably the best Asian buffet in the SFV - tons of snow crab legs, blue crab, mussels, clams, sushi, chocolate fountain , Mongolian bbq , dim sum and tons of hand scooped ice cream flavors! The only thing I will say is that they need more vegetarian dishes - if you're vegetarian and gluten free you're not gonna have much selection.... All in all, very decent buffet for $30pp - though buffets are generally wasted on me - my dad and bro in law, however, ate themselves into a food coma lol

Clean Restaurant, Attentive Wait Staff. Food Decent: Crab Legs were good! Salmon was wonderful. Siu Mai authentic Custard Buns yummy Sashimi and Sushi Rolls fresh and plentiful. Salads and Fruits fresh. Seafood good. Chinese dishes pretty decent. *Mongolian Grill cooks needs supervision, or else they'll overcook the hell out of your food. Noodles cooked til dark brown, mushrooms shrank~ turned black and unrecognizable, meat tough as leather, my beautiful egg was fried until stiff, dry and whites turned brown and crispy. yolk was cooked out until dry and rubbery. what the heck!! Ice Cream station was clean with many flavors, but too full to try. Next time... I didn't include pics bcuz their blue neon lighting turns pics all bluey

We've been to Gourmet City Seafood Buffet several times and we've noticed they are always consistent with great customer service. Once you come in the restaurant they warmly welcome you with a smile and you're seated right away. We've eaten here on a weekday and on a weekend (their busiest times). Yet, they continue to provide great customer service from when you enter to when you are seated. The waiters non stop will come by to replenish your drinks and pick up your finished plates. They will also ask if you're done before they pick up the plates. Gourmet City Seafood Buffet have a variety of food items to choose from. They have seafood, beef, chicken, pork, vegetables, fruits, sushi, pizza, fries, desserts area with a chocolate fountain and ice cream station. They also have a grilling station in the back with the choices of beef, steak, pork belly and pork chop that they will grill and season for you. This location also accommodates events and parties as we've attended a birthday party here before with 85 guests. Whenever we crave for buffet we definitely will stop by here at Gourmet City Seafood Buffet since it's in the San Fernando Valley.

So glad I stumbled across this place. It is bright, clean, and has a great food selection including crab and sushi. We have driven from Simi valley, to woodland hills to south LA and everywhere in between looking for a good Asian seafood buffet. All the ones we used to go to over the years have closed down and we have now found our "go to" place.

This was our first-time visiting Gourmet City Seafood Buffett. Wow! It is excellent. If you are looking for a new place: Just go, it is an excellent Seafood Buffet. Gourmet City Buffet is easy to miss because it is in in a corner in a large mini mall. We found it because of the large number of positive reviews. The parking is easy. You don't need to get a reservation because of the large amount of seating available. The décor is similar to a banquet hall with purple hues that give Gourmet city a festive feel. We walked in and were seated as soon as we walked in. The crew was welcoming and friendly. The servers were attentive and quick to refill our drinks and clean the used plates. The food: The selection is excellent. The crab legs are Large, plentiful and refilled frequently. The shrimp options are delicious. The seafood selection is very large. Look at my photos. If your family is not into seafood there are plentiful options for everyone in the family. Salmon, Pizza, sushi, Mongolian beef/chicken freshly cooking, macaroni and tons of food for kids. The California rolls were very tasty. There is a chocolate fountain flowing to dip what ever you would like to have chocolate. The ice cream bar if very large with very unique options. The Mango ice cream had real pieces of Mango in it. The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean without a wait or lines. You will enjoy your visit!

Came here on a Saturday and the place was busy. We were seated right away and no wait time since the place is huge inside. The place looks like a giant banquet hall with good lighting with nice decors. Including a wide screen t.v. Food selection is abundant and there is a chef in the back that grills the fresh marinated meat such as short ribs kali, steak etc. I had kalbi, baked mussels, platanos and fried rice. All were good and got me full right away. Waited a little for the food to settle then I got ice cream for dessert. I gave it 4 stars since the crab was cold...I just wish it were warm but I guess that's how they serve it. Service was good and plenty of space to park. Price wasn't too bad but I would come on a weekday during lunch since it's way cheaper. Overall I'd say it's a good place to eat if you're super hungry since it's a buffet.

I was visiting my sister and her husband in Sherman Oaks and wanted to treat them to an upscale Chinese Buffet, if one existed. Well one does! We arrived on Sunday afternoon, to a bustling restaurant--the Gourmet City Seafood Buffet. We were quickly seated on comfortable chairs to a table for four, then walked the buffet lines for a quick survey of all the food options. There were way too many to sample in one sitting, so we focused on the seafood and left the sushi bar for next time. The neon (blue) lighting severely compromises any photography, but one can get a good idea of the quality and variety of the food provided (see pic). The staff was attentive to our needs, chop sticks, more water, napkins etc. But there was little chance to talk with them, they were so busy. Look at the size of those prawns! All the seafood you can eat for $30 ? That's a real bargain! I hope to return and try all the other entrées I missed. This was definitely a 5-Star experience!

The promise of a vast and delicious seafood buffet in North Hollywood lured us to Gourmet City Seafood Buffet. The buffet boasts a wide selection of dishes, including various seafood options like sushi, sashimi, cooked fish, and shellfish. They also offer Korean BBQ, Mongolian BBQ, and a decent selection of non-seafood items. We arrived here when lunchtime was almost over but my friend wanted crab legs which was available only dinner time. However, we were not impressed with the quality of crab legs. Not something worth the higher price to pay for. So if you're looking for a budget-friendly option with a wide variety of food choices, including some decent seafood options, Gourmet City Seafood Buffet is worth a try, but I recommend only during lunch hours.

What a nice surprise. I really enjoyed my visit here. There's a great selection of hot foods, crab legs, a ton of sea food, Korean BBQ meat, teppanyaki, dessert, soups, sushi and Thrifty ice cream! It could be that I came on an off day, but the place was clean which is nice. The dining area is big and so is the lobby. I'd love to come back soon.
